Little Falls Village is a nonprofit membership organization that supports older adults who want to remain independent, connected, and engaged while continuing to live in their own homes. What They Do
Little Falls Village, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by local residents in 2013 as part of the national Village movement. It serves adults age 50 and older in Bethesda’s 20816 ZIP code and parts of 20817. Today, its network spans more than 20 neighborhoods and includes over 200 members and 100 volunteers.
Full members can request non-medical assistance from screened volunteers, including transportation to medical appointments, grocery trips, routine errands, minor household tasks, technology support, friendly visits, and wellness calls. Transportation is the service requested most often.
Little Falls Village also offers educational programs, discussion groups, wellness activities, cultural events, and social gatherings that strengthen connections among members. When a request falls outside what volunteers can provide, the organization connects members with local professionals and community resources.
