Pink Lemonade Project is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance, peer mentorship, and recovery-focused activities for people affected by breast cancer. Founded in 2010 by Drs. Allen and Cassie Gabriel, the Vancouver, Washington-based organization serves patients, survivors, caregivers, and families across Oregon and Southwest Washington.

What They Do

Pink Lemonade Project’s Pink Peers program matches breast cancer patients with volunteer survivors trained by a licensed clinical social worker. Through one-on-one mentorship, participants share their experiences and receive guidance from someone who has faced a breast cancer diagnosis.

The Treatment Access Program covers transportation, food, and lodging expenses for eligible patients during treatment. It serves individuals traveling at least 25 miles one way to their treatment facility, with applications submitted through healthcare providers. The program receives funding from the Toni Mountain Fund, a donor-designated fund established in 2014.

Pink Practicalities assists patients experiencing financial hardship during treatment with expenses such as food, utilities, and wigs. This program serves the Vancouver-Portland metropolitan area. The organization also hosts Revive Retreats, where experienced oncology facilitators provide guidance and lead activities focused on recovery and life after breast cancer treatment.

Registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit under Tax ID 37-1699288, Pink Lemonade Project serves all 36 counties in Oregon and six counties in Southwest Washington. Learn more at pinklemonadeproject.org.

Your Donation

When you donate your vehicle, the proceeds go directly to Pink Lemonade Project, funding programs for people affected by breast cancer across Oregon and Southwest Washington. These include Pink Practicalities, which provides financial assistance for essential expenses during treatment, and the Treatment Access Program, which covers eligible patients’ travel-related costs.

Your donation also funds Pink Peers, connecting patients with trained breast cancer survivors for one-on-one conversations about their experiences, concerns, and questions following a diagnosis.

Your donation is 100% tax deductible, and free vehicle pickup is included.
