Testimony Genesis Foundation is an international nonprofit based in Lorton, Virginia that works with underserved communities in the United States and Africa. Founded in Ghana in 2024, the foundation provides housing support, educational assistance, healthcare support, and community outreach for vulnerable children, families, individuals, and communities.

What They Do

Testimony Genesis Foundation works across two main regions, with programs shaped around immediate needs and longer-term community stability. In the United States, its homelessness support focuses on Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, where the foundation assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness with housing placement, shelter support, and essential living assistance.

In Ghana’s Ashanti Region, the foundation’s education work focuses on students and schools with limited access to basic learning resources. Its projects include distributing learning materials, building or restoring temporary classrooms, and improving sanitation facilities so children have safer, more usable spaces for school. The foundation’s 2025 Annual Report notes that its education support program served more than 200 students and helped provide two temporary classrooms in the Mmofra Mentukwa community.

Healthcare support is another part of its work in Ghana. The foundation donates medical equipment, supplies, and medications to strengthen local healthcare delivery, including support for facilities in the Ashanti Region where shortages can affect patient care. Its community development work also includes clean water efforts, welfare visits, material assistance, and outreach to families and vulnerable individuals.
