Pathway for Warriors

Our Mission

The mission of Pathway For Warriors is to provide veterans living in the State of Florida with vocational training in the areas of: (1) manufacturing; (2) specialty construction for producing modular workforce housing that is designed to be virtually maintenance free; and (3) specialized training to remove invasive species from the State of Florida.

Pathway for Warriors was founded on a simple but powerful idea: the skills developed in military service and be redirected toward protecting our environment and preserving Florida’s natural heritage. Pathway for Warriors addresses two critical challenges at once: environmental protection and veteran transition.

Many of the veterans who participate in this work are living with PTSD or combat-related trauma. Their heightened awareness, resilience and commitment to mission make them uniquely suited to this work – and the sense of purpose it provides can be profoundly meaningful.
