Geekz 4 God is a Baltimore, Maryland nonprofit that combines faith-centered mentorship with technology education for youth, families, educators, and community leaders. The organization focuses on practical skills in areas such as AI, digital literacy, aviation, media, and digital creativity while encouraging character, purpose, and leadership.
What They Do
Geekz 4 God is a faith-driven innovation hub where technology, purpose, and discipleship meet. Its programs are designed to help young people and the adults who support them build confidence with emerging technology while staying grounded in spiritual growth, ethical leadership, and community impact.
The organization’s training includes hands-on learning in AI Product and Prompt Engineering, digital literacy, and emerging technologies. It has classroom labs where students gain practical experience while being guided by culturally aligned Black instructors who understand their lived experiences.
Beyond the classroom, students apply what they learn through field assignments, service-learning events, technical volunteering, and neighborhood innovation challenges that support local nonprofits, faith-based programs, small businesses, and community initiatives.
Geekz 4 God also offers a 3-month AI Empowerment Cohort for educators, parents, youth workers, and community leaders. The cohort is built to help participants use AI for tasks such as simplifying documentation, improving communication, streamlining workflow, supporting student behavior, and building confidence with technology.
