A Forever-Home Rescue Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue group serving the Northern Virginia and Washington Metropolitan area. Their mission is to make quality dogs available for adoption while carefully matching each animal with the right family and lifestyle.

What They Do

This rescue is powered by a team of experienced volunteers who understand that every dog — and every adopter — has unique needs. Whether you’re looking for a jogging partner, a playful companion for your kids, or a calm couch buddy, A Forever-Home Rescue Foundation works to find the right match.

Dogs in their care come from a variety of backgrounds, including shelters, owner surrenders, and situations where animals faced the risk of euthanasia. Each dog receives medical care, behavioral evaluation, and the opportunity to thrive in a foster home before adoption. The group also hosts regular adoption events across Northern Virginia, where prospective adopters can meet dogs in person and connect with knowledgeable rescuers.
